OUR SERVICES
Below is a list of subscription services offered by COMSPOC ranging from Safety of Flight (SoF) to Launch and Early Operations (LEOPS). They can be purchased on a subscription basis annually or tailored to mission specific needs.
High Definition Ephemeris (HiDEph)
HiDEph service provides high-accuracy positional knowledge with realistic covariance drawing upon comprehensive data fusion and accurate orbit determination for Resident Space Objects (RSOs). HiDEph information is capable of being delivered in many forms such as ephemeris, TLE or state vector to name a few.
Applicability
Satellite Operator, Satellite Servicer, SSA Operation Center, geolocation, Space Domain Awareness

Safety of Flight (SoF)
Safety of Flight service screens an Resident Space Object (RSO) against all other RSOs or RSOs of interest and provides the most accurate and timely notification available. The SoF service can incorporate not only COMSPOC’s High Definition Ephemeris (HiDEph) orbit solutions, but can also ingest and screen against customer –supplied, third-party, and public orbit and planned maneuver information for RSOs of interest. SoF information is delivered in the form of Conjunction Data Messages (CDMs) or other custom formats.
Applicability
Satellite Operator, Satellite Servicer, SSA Operation Center, STM

Enhanced Safety of Flight
COMSPOC offers collision avoidance maneuver planning and Course Of Action (COA) analysis for conjunctions involving a Resident Space Object (RSO) of interest. This service leverages the above 'Safety of Flight' service.
Applicability
Maneuver planning

Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch service monitors a volume of space around a Resident Space Object (RSO) of interest. It also actively detects RSOs approaching, entering, or exiting an RSO’s designated keep-out zone. The customer receives timely notifications of these potential encroachments.
Applicability
Spacecraft Operator, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI)

Maneuver Processing
The Maneuver Process service detects and characterizes maneuvers of one or more Resident Space Objects (RSOs) of interest. This service provides detailed maneuver information including maneuver type, direction, magnitude, burn start/stop, and burn center time.
Applicability
Maneuver Validation, Intelligence Analysis

Maneuver Processing Add On: Patterns of Life and Change Detection
The Pattern of Life and Change Detection service monitors pattern of life of any Resident Space Object (RSO) and notifies out of family behavior. This service provides immediate tipping and queuing of the situation which may be expanded to warn of adversary or high-value asset abnormalities.
Applicability
Satellite Operator, SSA Operation Center, Intelligence Analysis, Satellite Ops, Anomaly Resolution

Maneuver Calibration
The Maneuver Calibration service provides characterization information and verifies maneuver performance expectations against set execution plans. Through interactive dialogue, COMSPOC can assist customers in a variety of maneuver disciplines including maneuver magnitude and direction calibration, object relocation and collision avoidance. This will enable Operators to adjust plans of future intended maneuvers with greater predictive positional knowledge.
Applicability
Maneuver planning and Execution

Sensor Calibration
The Sensor Calibration service utilizes customer input sensor data and COMSPOC’s software to determine sensor weight and biases that can be applied in the orbit determination process to optimize the overall contributions of a particular sensor.
Applicability
SSA Operation Center, Sensor Operators, Satellite Operators

Launch and Early Operations (LEOPS)
The LEOPS service supports customers with launch and early operations by performing satellite tracking, conjunction assessment, generating ephemerides and maneuver characterization for satellite(s) of interest. By applying customer input data for the launch, LEOPS can establish early orbit determination (EODET) including the orbit confirmation, asset identification, detection of launch and orbital insertion anomalies, etc.
Applicability
Launch Operations, Satellite Operators

Launch Collision Avoidance (LCOLA)
The LCOLA service utilizes the Analysis and Visualization for Orbit Insertion Deconfliction (AVOID) tool to perform launch window closure analyses for launch service providers, range safety experts, and launch safety analysts. The service generates detailed launch window closure information for any launch opportunity which would result in a violation of a stand-off distance or collision probability threshold during the launch and early orbit phases of flight.
The LCOLA service has the following advantages:
- Can accommodate many deployed objects
- Assembles a single set of launch holds for the launch director/team
- Efficiently screens entire launch window, unconstrained to discrete launch times
- Automatically filters launch time cut-outs to accommodate “top-of-the-minute” or other constraints
- Uses relative motion topology to detect and visualize LCOLA events
- Ensures that covariances are positive-definite and remediates if necessary
Applicability
SSA Operation Center, Satellite Operators, Civil Defense and Warning

Reentry
The Reentry service provides statistical estimation of atmospheric reentry time and location along the orbit path of a Resident Space Object (RSO) of interest based upon orbital decay rates driven by atmospheric drag, gravitational perturbations, resonances, solar radiation pressure, and other non-conservative forces.
Applicability
SSA Operation Center, Satellite Operators, Civil Defense and Warning

Processed Observations
This service delivers curated observations for a single or group of Resident Space Objects (RSOs) of interest. COMSPOC ingests raw data from its well-calibrated commercial sensor network, combines it with third-party sensor data, then processes the data through COMSPOC’s software to curate metric observations.
Applicability
SSA Operation Center, Sensor Operators, Satellite Operators
